A specialized Academy within the Monmouth County Vocational School District, MAST’s curriculum focuses on marine sciences and marine technology / engineering. The Academy started out in 10 small former army personnel support buildings. KJW’s involvement includes adding two new buildings to the campus and fully renovating several others to include computer and science labs a technology lab and meeting room / cafeteria.

After tropical storm Sandy flooded the entire campus in late October 2012, KJW prepared plans and oversaw repairs of buildings and utility infrastructure within a 10 month timeframe allowing students to return to campus in September 2013. KJW is currently working on the next ambitious project for MAST which will see the rehabilitation and expansion of two historic Fort Hancock Buildings for use by the school’s Naval Science program.
